I grew up in Winton, CA and attended Atwater High School, where I graduated in 1989. After high school I attended Merced Community College until 1994 when I earned an A.A. degree in Social Science. I transferred to Humboldt State University and received a B.A. in Social Science and a minor in Economics. I returned to Merced and attended Chapman University where I earned a single subject teaching credential in Social Science and an Education Specialist/Mild-Moderate credential too. I also earned my M.A. degree in Special Education in 2002 from Chapman University.
I've worked for the Merced Union High School District since 1998, when I started teaching at Merced High School. After eight years there, I jumped over to Yosemite High School and have been there ever since. In my current position, I provide specialized academic instruction in an English, co-teaching classroom & in a learning skills class.
I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Mrs. French, who teaches English at Golden Valley High School, since 1995. I have two wonderful daughters that are both in high school. My passions in life include fishing and cycling.
